Kia ora and welcome to my blog! I'm making weekly entries here tracking my journey learning to DJ.
I decided I wanted to pick up a new skill that would combine my love of music and contributing to social spaces that bring my community together.
My blog will be divided up into two sections, "Tech" and "Core". I've done this because as well as developing technical abilities I'd like to focus on my human skills in this new medium—understanding how I relate to staff and audience at venues, problem solving in sticky situations, and of course what music I can play that will make everyone have a really good time.
